My home had some high moisture and NR ( No resistance ) readings. Does all the Stucco need to removed and replaced with siding?
NO! It is rare that all the Stucco on your home would need to be removed. Chances are the water is making its way behind the water barrier by either 1.) missing, undersized, or incorrectly installed flashing (s), 2.) a seperation gap between two dissimilar materials that can be sealed with caulk.
If I choose to repair is it a band aid or temporary fix?
No, after we thoroughly go through your moisture inspection report. We will put a game plan together that will include diagnosing where the water is entering, correcting the issue as well as replaced necessary sheathing and structural support. The repair(s) will last for years to come
Will these repairs be noticeable? Different color, texture, and/ or thickness?
No, pending on what Stucco company that you choose to do necessary repairs. We have never had any issues with matching existing color, texture or thickness with our unparalleled experience in this industry.
Is Stucco maintenance free?
No, There is no facade or material that is maintenance free. There are several services we offer to keep your Stucco system performing to its optimum for years to come! Which include flashing install, caulking, powerwashing , recoating, clear waterproofing, and applying elastomeric or loxon paint products.
